Barbera d'Alba
Barbera is a classic variety of Piedmont, and our wine is absolutely typical in character. We mature our Barbera d’Alba for 18 months in traditional small-sized oak barrels, then further age in the bottle.
We consider our Barbera to be a strong wine, complex, powerful and a true expression of our land. The color is deep ruby red, with a bouquet that is complex, with hints of plums, blackberries and spices. Full and fruity, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, Barbera d’Alba is a superb partner to both our rich and delicious local dishes, as well as to other Italian and international foods.
